Announcing First Ever Global Heritage Tour in Oct 2025

We are extremely pleased to announce that with the joint efforts of various Kashmiri Pandit organization across the world the first ever Global Kashmiri Hindu Heritage tour 2025 is being organized in Kashmir during October 4-12, 2025. The tour will commence with a two day international conference at Sher-i-Kashmir International conference centre on the 4th and 5th October. It is our humble initiative to reconnect with Maej Kasheer-our beloved motherland.

We are grateful to our community organizations across the world,

• Global Kashmiri Pandit Diaspora (GKPD)

• Youth All India Kashmiri Samaaj (YAIKS)

• Jammu Kashmir Vichaar Manch (JKVM)

• Kashmir Overseas association USA (KOA)

• Kashmiri Pandit Association Mumbai (KPA)

And other groups in India and abroad who will together make this tour a stupendous success.

Our community has entered its 36th year of exile and we continue to live as refugees in India and abroad. In addition an entire generation, born and brought up outside Kashmir remains disconnected from the valley of their ancestors. They have only heard second hand accounts of the land belonging to their forefathers. An entire generation has passed on with an unfulfilled dream of spending their last days in their beloved homeland.

As a step towards reconnecting with our homeland the first ever Global heritage tour has been organized.

The aims of this tour are:

1. To reconnect with our roots after an extended period in exile. This is especially important for our younger generation who have not been able to live in or visit their homeland.

2. To visit various religious and spiritual places in the valley with which our community has a deep connection spanning over thousands of years.

3. To discuss various issues facing our community as we struggle to establish ourselves away from home and together have a roadmap on how to address them.
